About: My Different Normal

Hi, I’m Alison. Born and raised in Ireland, I now call the US my home. I'm blessed with two kickass teenagers and an elderly,  pup slightly incontinent pup.. My beautiful daughter is a Type 1 Diabetes rock star, while my son, with his profound, nonverbal autism, reminds me daily of life's unique wonders. Since my divorce in 2015, we've navigated the waters of birdnesting co-parenting. Juggling a hectic career, I’m always on the hunt for those elusive extra minutes in a day. I'm sharing my story in the hopes that my lessons learned might just make your journey a tad smoother. Welcome my world! 🌼
